Name: Anonymous on Dec 18, 2009Comments: more often than not, i choose to walk to work rather than drive. because of the traffic, it is actually quicker to walk/jog from van vohris to the downtown campus and back than it is to drive in the morning and evening. of course because of the traffic, it is getting harder to cross some of the roads as well.Flag

Name: Ken Wolfe on Jan 12, 2010Comments: I am the principal at Suncrest Primary school. My main concern is the safety of our students. Many of our students walk to and from school. I would be in favor of having sidewalks, sidewalk repair, and speed humps on the streets used by our students.Flag

Name: Robert Anderson on Jan 13, 2010Comments: Morgantown needs to be greener; its sidewalks and streets need to be safer. Governments have been too beholden to motor vehicles and have not paid much attention to the needs of people who walk and use bikes for pleasure or to get to work. (In my case I use those modes for pleasure and to get to and from work.) Let's change the paradigm!Flag

Name: Joh C Krouse on Jan 14, 2010Comments: I don't work in Morgantown city limits as I'm a retiree. Woodburn school does need renovation but does NOT need closed. The worst thing that has happened to our neighborhoods, our children, and our society is the closing of neighborhood schools. The closings are destroying the fabric of our society. It costs more to transport our students than it does to keep the schools open. We are becoming a people that "know the price of everything and the value of nothing"; closing neighborhood schools is the perfect example of this mentality, it's short-sighted, and destructive. jckFlag
