| 2378 | d +j davies | the trouble with polotics IS!!! Its run by polotitians, who wouldent know a brass farthing, unless it was made of lead. All grist to your mill. |
| 2379 | Norman F Burrell | I, with millions of other Britishers fought for the rights and freedoms of our native land. Since the advent of EU it seems fought in vain or lost. |

| 2383 | Michael Young | Our government are too quick to criminalise good citizens who seek to uphold the british values and customs. We applaud the late Steve Thoburns campaign to protect our traditional values. |
| 2384 | Annette Young | Steve Thoburn was a true campaigner in every sense of the word for his unrelenting resistance to european bureaucracy. |
| 2385 | Neil Redding | A hugely principled 4
Are the Metric Martrys
To fight for the right to serve
Pounds of spuds and grapes and termatas
As we wade through hapless tomes
Of European Legislation
Let's sing and shout for British Clout
And begin the celebration.
Tomorrow Belongs to US
A Royal Pardon is everything the guys deserve !
It's the only sensible way forward. |

| 2395 | Owen Pearman | The death of Steve Thorburn is indeed tragic - he should not have died a criminal.
Despite this there is an element of dark humour in people being arrested for using metric measurements. Upon reflection however, this amusement at absurd laws should cool into disgust at the invasion of the EU.
I wholly support this cause.
I pray for a swift return to British Parliamentary Sovereignity. |
| 2396 | David Hanson | Steve, you lit the blue touchpaper, we are waiting for the big bang. |
| 2397 | j g carruthers | I was utterly appalled when this happened.
Aim: should be to have the law repealed from the day and time that it was enacted.
That should hit the gestapos in their pockets and probably in their careers. |
