The quiet from the Welsh Assembly Government continues though the implications of their decision regarding the Merthyr Village project remain clear to those living here. I am currently compiling the feedback shared by local residents to present a more detailed case for reconsideration. Our focus stays on ensuring the long term benefits for our town and its football club are fully understood by those in power.

Merthyr needs this investment badly. WAG have no clue what its like living here and seeing everything get shut down. sort it out!
My kids play for the club and the facilities are falling apart. The village project would have helped so many families. absolute joke of a decision.
total nonsense. Merthyr has been neglected for years and now they stop this? leave us alone and let us have our stadium.
Ridiculous. They talk about regeneration but then block the only real project that would bring jobs and a decent stadium.
So fed up with these suits in Cardiff making choices for us. Let the project go ahead.

The club needs that new ground. Keep the heritage stuff but dont stop the place from growing. ridiculous.
