In the wake of the recent shootings across America (especially Sandy Hook) i feel its time for real change across our nation. Our mentally ill americans have no place to go for help without some sort of "paper trail" for us to identify these people and help them before things like Sandy Hook, Columbine, Aurora or a shooting at a movie theatre for us to then think about these things. Its not only about gun control. Its about getting help for those people before tragedies like these happen. There are often signs leading up to these that either go unnoticed or people feel they have no one and no where to turn. Enough is enough! Its time we as Americans stand up and say to our government, how many senseless deaths have to happen before we become pro-active and not re-active. If you think things like these happen "other places" i'm sorry to say your wrong, its just a matter of time if we dont act NOW. We need to come together as a nation a stop this madness. Our schools, colleges and movie theatres should safe places for us and our children. They're NOT! It starts with our government and the American people have to stand together on this subject.This is about "mental awareness" and helping identify this disease in Americans before its too late. I'm looking for 1,000,000 signatures to take to our President. Come on people lets make this happen. God Bless all of you and your families and lets pray this stops.
