Men Of Color were founded in 2012 by Mr.Billy Stone as respect and praises to our black ancestors whom paved the way through sweat and blood to give us the future generation of black men an opportunity as success.The celebration of accomplishments and goals of achievement from the enslavement period has been honored with respect as a day that black slave men were forced to work in the cotton fields with no pay or pennies a day.

Black slave men were forced to sit and watch their wives being raped and murdered.

Black slave men were forced to eat pig scaps as food.

Black slave men were severely beaten and hung as punishment of refusal.

Black slave men were forced not to learn how to read or write.

Black slave men were forced to listen as whites called them degradig names,plus being spit on.

And yet,through all the drama,trials and tribulations,the black slave men refused to let their spirit to be broken and hopeless which got us to this point.

Men Of Color Day will be honored as a day of reflection from 1619-2012
