Name: Linda W. Flower, M.D. on Mar 16, 2010Comments: Is Congress trying to decease the number of physicians accepting Medicare in order to cut costs to the government? That is what they are accomplishing. Instead, look for ways to encourage older patients to stay healthy and allow elders to keep their private insurance instead of forcing them into Medicare.City:State:Flag

Name: Sherry Cordry on Mar 16, 2010Comments: Doctors deserve fair payment for all that they do. Insurance companies are the ones making out like BANDITS. Cut back on the profit that they make. Also, encourage wellness health programs. I support a non-employer based health care program for all. Other countries provide good health care for all, at a cheaper price that we do, with less infant mortality rates. We should too!!!City: TXState:Flag

Name: A D Strickland, MD, DChem on Mar 16, 2010Comments: Since Congress invented Medicare - thereby destroying any chance that an employer's health insurance would cover retirees and simultaneously forcing both doctors and hospitals to raise prices to cover the losses from Medicare underpayments, Congress is responsible for the current situation. Arbitarily cutting payments now will only mean that physicians and hospitals will have to stop caring for Medicare patients and therefore leave retirees with no access to medical care. Paying for National Healthcare for young, healthy 20's and 30's by removing the payments for the elderly is the mark of an evil, utilitarian society that will be doomed to failure as the citizens realize their lack of support by the society.City: Lake Jackson, TXState:Flag

Name: Beth V. Anginm MD on Mar 16, 2010Comments: As one of the only breast surgeons in the Plano, Collin county area who takes Secure Horizons and TriCare, Medicare cuts would force me to see fewer breast cancer patients with these plans. That would be 21% less Medicare breast cancer patients. And since breast cancer is most common at advanced age, what is the government saying to their elderly?City: Plano, TXState:Flag
