This petition is with regards to the vast amount of pot holes both in Princes Park and in Medway as a whole. Those who pay council tax and car tax have a right to use the roads, without incurring damage to their vehicles through the lack of repair. As tax payers, money should be spent on road repairs, primarily because we live in a society bounded by the regular use of motorised vehicles . I am a firm believer, as are many, that potholes are a liability on our roads, consequently causing the motorist to pay out more money for unecessary repairs to their vehicles. Potholes can be repaired relatively quickly and efficently. In the long term being cost effective for both the tax payer and the council. I understand that Councillor Filmer has a budget for such repair, so surely this should be used?
