    Comments: public access encourages public interest, public interest encourages public concern as to the ongoing welfare of the lake and its surroundings. Good for all i think! the power of many in something is always better than that of a few. Public access has to be helpful all round.

    Comments: Texas is 97% privately owned. Public lands and waterways access has been an issue for a long time. People in our state have come to accept that it is "pay to play". Wealthy landowners who have waterfront property wish to keep it that way. TPWD attorney,Mr. Kennedy states it exactly in his paper" if a river runs through it"...link is here. This petition is good start - but we need ALOT more sigs!! And expect pushback- it's Medina County!
