The kids of Medford N.Y. have dieing for skating and have been getting kicked out of local skate spots such as near by schools, parks, stores etc. Many people have been skating around and have nowhere to go so this skate park will give them a place to hangout. This will give them a good safe enviorment to skate, bike, rollerblade and more while hanging out with there friends. This will keep them safe and off the streets giving the risk of getting hurt. If this park is a liability issue all skaters and more will have to sign before they go in showing that the town is not responsible for any injuries. A helment is required to be able to enter or any other pads that the town requires. Many kids will donate money showing there dedication to having this park. So please medford give this park a chance and see what we can do. If the town has enough money to waist on stuff not inportant why use it, why not use it for somthing for the kids enjoyment.
