AnonymousAnonymousZimbabwe deserves a peaceful end to these crazy times.
AnonymousAnonymousI implore the entire world to join us in condeming the acts of the tyrany of Mugabe.
Stefania Olivieroolivieros@yahoo.itAfrican Governments must be pressurised by UN to fight Mugabe and ZANU's hypocrisy, they have lost the elections fair and square. In fact such victory was gained by MDC against all odds, since they have been completely under siege for the past 8 years. Tsvangirai and Company deserve to NOW be given a chance to revive Zimbabwe. Zimbabweans also deserve a chance to finally regain the pride they had until Mugabe got paranoid about loosing power. Zimbabweans are a beacon of peace, no other population in the whole World would have endured what Zimbabweans have endured without resorting to violence. It will not come as a surprise if in the future Tsvangirai will be awarded a Nobel Peace Price, he has proved to have the patience of Job and always put the safety of his compatriots before anything else!
K Andersonandek.karen@gmail.comcontinue the pro-active stance, the pressure for transparency, and the right of democracy for all Zimbabweans
Felistasphillk2001@yahoo.comI hope these peaceful demonstration and protests happen in other areas including South Africa and Zimbabwe. We have to show Mbeki that we are not happy with his quiet diplomacy. How can he say that it is not yet time to intervene when he knows what is happening in Zimbabwe. Lets fight for democracy, Zimbabweans, we have been quite for too long. It was very easy for Mugabe to pretend to the world that his people like him. It was easy to create that impression through intimidation of voters and rigging elections. Now it is difficult for him because we spoke out through the ballot and for the first time the way the electios were conducted were transparent. We cannot allow him to steal our freedom. We have suffered lot. Now that you all know even us, his people donot like him, it should be easy for the international community to intervene. UN, EU, SADC, AU please free us from Mugabe and ZANU PF!

Lee Lemmon, Ph.D.leelemmon@earthlink.netMay this effort be met with success and that the suffering of the people of Zimbabwe be lessened
Simone Bezuidenhouttrade@lantic.netMugabe's sister Sabina has taken our family farm on Darwendale Dam along with several others in the area. This was once a thriving tobacco and chicken farm - it now lies idle. Sabina's son has taken our house on Darwendale Dam.

petersusanhume@charter.netmugabe is going to hang on to power no matter what, i hope het get what he deserves in the end
jacksusanhume@charter.netusa should send a msg to the rest of the world, and show the rest of the african countries, that dictatorship is NOT OK. Mugabe should be force to step down, just like Taylor in Monrovia, and George W Bush was the one to take a stand.
Deebaggers@zol.co.zw1I cannot believe what is happening in Zimbabwe, it is high time more pressure was put on our leader internationally. We are no longer on the news anymore, it is as if it is all over now. PLEASE HELP US SAVE OUR COUNTRY!

AnonymousAnonymousHow many more innocent Zimbabweans must suffer or die in the hands of the Mugabe regime for UN and the international community to intervene? Please help stop the bloodshed and violence in our country.
Anthony Cizekanthonycizek@mac.comJust as the international community's involvement in bringing an end to Rhodesia in the 1970s undoubtedly influenced white South Africa, what happens in Zimbabwe as a result of this election will set the stage for the political and social context of southern Africa for the next generation. It now has the potential to swing either way - the euphoria of the triumph of democracy or the catastrophe of entrenchment of fascism.
