Name: Nicholas Gieselman on Apr 28, 2008Comments: I have been a counselor for almost off and on now for 20 years. When I started there were adults at camp and there was not an age limit but you kicked them out. Now the 18 21 years olds. I realize cost are high but with 60million rasied at Telethon you have to find a way to use that to keep the 18 21 years olds at camp. This is there last oppurtunity to hang out in a Large group of people that are in a similiar situation as they are. When do we stop worrying about the money and start caring for the kids and young adults who have go through what they go through. I realize research is important but you have to take care of the people TODAY!Flag

Name: Maggie McGuire on Apr 28, 2008Comments: As a camp volunteer I have watched while "Jerry's Kids" graduate from camp at 21 years old and with each camper I have seen do so. The more I have realized how important this camp is for all ages. This camp not only is a fun place for kids it is a escape from the harsh realities kids and young adults face having a neuromuscular disease. Limiting these young adults with the escape that they look forward to every year is not only wrong, but it's shameful.Flag
