McMurry University has recently made it known that Men’s
Soccer and the entire Swimming program will no longer be official NCAA sports at the university. The athletes
and coaches making up these teams have shown us that they have become a emerging
force within NCAA Division 2 Sports. The soccer team was NCCAA Region Champions and made
it to the NCCAA National Tournament in the first year of membership. These teams go to work every day, many playing without any athletic scholarships,
bleeding and sweating to provide McMurry and this community with high quality
options for athletic entertainment. These student-athletes have done nothing to deserve their
programs being removed and action must be taken to ensure that these programs remain at McMurry University. By signing this petition, you show your support
