In the Albany Creek area residents are
starting to complain about the Dog Park behind Fairhaven Place in Albany Creek.
Many residents have told me because I live in the area they think it would be a
great benefit to the local community if the local dog park had more
fencing. Residents complain that the fenced area must be extended and go on the
border of the grass to the creek and also must go around the sides of the
park.
Personally I think it is a rubbish idea
they think residents and their dogs would let their dogs of leash in a park that
is not even fenced complety. You need to fence the entire perimeter to make
residents and their dogs happy. The other facilities in the park are great
including the water fountain and the dog bowl feature, the seat for owners to
sit down in and The gate which lets the dogs make the transition of with the
lead to without the lead. You need to fence it all because some dogs are
disobedient and will run away if they have the chance. So if you do not fence it
all now you know why everyone is complaining.
Local, Residents Have also brought up
the poor condition of the bin. It is overflowing with dog poo bags. The bin
needs to be emptied on a regular basis and cleaned thoroughly. Another issue is
the dog poo bags are only dispensed at the top entrances of the park. So if your
dog did a poo you would have to walk all the way back up just to get a bag. That
is why you should install one in the dog park. Think of the elderly people who
would want to take their dog to the park and if their dog did a poo. They would
have to walk all the way back up and retrieve one.
Finally, Dogs need to have obedience
skills. Owners want to let their dogs be free and show of their skills. This
means I am proposing to be a obedience course with tunnels, jumps, nd student of
McDowall State School seesaws and weaving posts and much more. It would be
great because you do not see that particular equipment much these days. It would
be good to for your dog’s fitness. I also would like to have a toy shed which
you can grab a toy or a ball or even a Frisbee. This will give you are a chance
to bond with their dogs and make them both happy.
Dogs have the right to mix with other dogs,
run around like crazy and just be the picture perfect pet. Would you want to
have a happy community or a grumpy and sad community. You could do what I ask or
don't take any action at all and your project would have been a big waste of
funds for our local community. Make Everyone Happy.
