We, the undersigned, are the parents and tax paying citizens of McCracken County, Kentucky. We are just plain angry that the McCracken County School Board—who were elected by us to represent our views—ignored the parents/citizens who elected them when consolidation was being discussed by the Board. We demand that this matter be voted on by the parents of the children of McCracken County and all other tax paying citizens even if the law allows only an advisory vote for the board to consider. If the McCracken County School Board cares what the citizens/parents think, this must be done before the first stone is laid for a consolidated high school for McCracken County.
