| 51 | James Cooling | I was absolutely gutted to hear that Mazza had been released. He will always remain as my favourit imps player
Thank you for a brilliant 9 years Mazza and good luck for the future. |
M Hodson | TERRIBLE decision. Marriott is a very good keeper and will be difficult to replace. He deserves a new contract, no doubt in my mind.
Anonymous | Best of luck Mazza. Its shame that you could not have been given another year.
Tim | Have a change of heart please.. and bring back Mazza for another year, so that we can at least say goodbye properly.. He's a LEGEND!!!
David | CHEATED. That's how I feel and how Mazza must feel. The second mistake Mr Jackson has made. The first was in dropping Mazza and bringing in Ben Smith. Smith lost us points and cup games, but showed us how good Mazza is.
jim | great keeper
Lindy | Absolutely appalling decision and a big mistake. Mazza is still one of the best and ultimately this will only be too apparent. Extremely disappointed that we are not keeping the great keeper we already have and are evidently prepared to gamble. Mazza deserves better and I feel gutted for him and his family :-(
H Booth | Can't believe the club have allowed such a foolish decision. Unforgivable. Mazza deserves better.
Dave Grant |
Richard Brazier | The way he has been treated is a disgrace. After 9 years of service and loyalty to the club.
toot | shocking treatment from the club, not even a special word of thanks for all the years of service, great decision to keep Duffy LOOOOOOOL
Ben Wood |
| 63 | James | To be honest, i cant see this making much difference but what the hell.
Thanks Mazza anyway for everything, you have given me and the whole of Lincoln lots of memories. Hopefully you will return one day. Cheers!!!! |
Matty Turner | please let him stay
Tony Davison | He has been a loyal servant for 9 years and deserves a 1 year contract.
Anonymous | Awful decision to let him go.
Sam | Absolutely wrong decision whoever made it, you should be ashamed. How stupid are you going to look now? I hope your lack of intelligence is worth all the money you are going to loose in the long run because lets face it that is what this is really all about! Cutting your nose off to spite our face springs to mind! Other players shouldn't be so quick to sign now they have seen how disgracefully Mazza has been treated! WELL DONE NOT!

Anonymous | one of the top 5 keepers in league two, how can Lincoln get better than that. I think some people need a reality check
Anonymous | Keep mazza at the bank..he the best keeper and it will behard to replace him. good luck for the future to you and your family.

Anonymous | Dear, dear. The decision was made for footballing reasons. Whether you disagree with them or not, that is what management are paid to do.All this talk of loyalty and his testemonial is frankly just a lever to make the decision appear heartless. This has to be the most pointless petition, ever. Had Tottenham agreed to the testemonial match. No, thought not - jumping to allsorts of conclusions aren't we. Thanks for your great service Alan, but time to move on. That's football, that's life. I'm sure he'll survive...
Travis Herberts | Mazza is a legend!!!
Alex Harrison | He has been a monumental figure for the club.. dont let him go.. great servant for the club
Jenni | I think this is a dreadful decision, as how much is it going to cost us to get a new keeper to relace Alan. Duffy went for an interview last week and he may have been offered another job elsewhere. If Duffy does stay how is he going to cope with all the pressure on him. He is a young man and it is not going to be easy for him with no defence in front of him and the fans having a go behind him when he makes mistakes. Alan put up with that for years and he stayed loyal to Lincoln City and the fans. I fell so sorry for him and want to say thank you Alan for all you have done for us and Lincoln. Good luck in you future and I hope your next club really appreciates you. There are so many Lincoln City supporters that do not agree with this decision but the manager decides who stays, not us. Thank you for all you have done for us Alan, we are really going to miss you.

Matthew Moore | Mazza is a ledge!! Keep him at Lincoln!
Matthew Moore | Mazza is a ledge!! Keep him at Lincoln!
Ian G | Terrible decision, how can they keep on Duffy and not Marriott as Duffy is not in the same class as Mazza. First bad decisoin by Jacko in my opinion. All the best Maz and if you ever return to the Bank with another club i'll be the first to stand up and applaud you.

| 81 | loz taylor | i can not believe mazza wasnt offered a year!!!
after 9 years of loyality, its the least he deserved, all those chances he had to move on to probably bigger and better things and he chose to stay,
its the least we could've offered him as a thank you!
englands number one!!!!!! always |

Dennis | Marriott deserves a chance to prove himself again. I know where Jack is coming from, Mazza has not been at his best during his time here, but we all know what Mazz can do. Listen to the fans, and at least repay some loyalty to Mazz, and GIVE HIM A CHANCE..
roger huxley | Mazza has been a great servant to Lincoln City, and deserved better. He never even had chance to say goodbye to the fans.He should have been given a testemonial, which obviously would have been good for Mazza, but also the club.
max | why would you release such a good goal keeper
Rex Hippey | Give him a testimonial at least

Anonymous | I think this is outrageous, what Mazza has done for us has been nothing short of superb. The pics of him at the Millennium in 2003 will stay with me for a long time, and the fact that he has no hesitation in having photos and signing items for his fans is amazing. My little boy, aged 4, wants to be mascot for his 5th birthday, but now Mazza, has gone, hes not interested. He is devastated as his mum who has supported the Imps for 23 years. Good luck Maz, with your future career in Footy and with your new family. My heart goes out to you. x
nikki chatterton | Alan is the bestest! keep him!!!!
lewi de-la-hey | TELL ME WHO IS BETTER?!?
lincolnred | Loyalty - A two way street
phil roberts | brilliant decision, MAZZA SUCKS
Neil Carrott | The least the club can do is arrange something to thank him.
Nathan | WE WANT MAZZA BACK!! HE IS MY HERO!!
Phil | A good keeper and shown greta loyalty to the club
donna miller |
Chopper | Keep him!!
Sam Bateman |
Mr A. Nonymous | You really, really need a life.
Chris Martin | Keep the Mazza
