Name: Robert Lindbloom on Nov 5, 2007Comments: I just bought a CX-7, and the only complaint I have is that there is no AUX jack to plug an MP3 player into. It needs one badly. I now have to go out to aftermarket companies to find one, and install it myself.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 9, 2007Comments: I want an ipod connection in my Technology Package! My current plan includes my newly purchased wiring manual for CX-7, as well as a detailed parts guide. I will be going to an a custom stereo place for an auxiliary port to be soldered to the sat connections on the back of the HU. Itmight work, as it has worked in non-nav setups.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 10, 2007Comments: Absolutely unbelievable that I spent ~$4k for a 'tech" package and yet there is no integrated support for an iPod/MP3 player. The nav has come in very handy, but I honestly don't know that I would have gotten it if I had realized there is no solution for hooking up an MP3 player.Flag

Name: Bill Boes on Nov 10, 2007Comments: It simply defies logic, how could a car with SO much technology cannot support an IPOD. WTF were you thinking mazda To think the problem still exists in the 08 model, had I known prior to purchase I would have bought differently. Now save face and come up with a solution for petes sake !Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 18, 2007Comments: I also bought the cx7 believing that i could use my ipod I was only informed that I couldn't when i took it in to get it installed and also the remote start. Then I was told that i could use cd's !! which is so time consuming and cumbersome. Also have you notice that some of their ad's show the ipod being used with the nav systemFlag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 16, 2007Comments: I am very disappointed that the ipod is not integrated with the mazda cx7 technology package and also surprised considering that this is a fairly new car on the market. Mazda needs to get with it as all the other car makers have. They probably do not realize how big a deal this is for music lovers. I was told by the sales person that I can just make cd"s! I was mislead right up to the point when I took it in to get both the remote start and the ipod installed. A lot of people ask me about the car because it so beautiful but when I tell them about the ipod problem they are just not interested. By the way Mazda could be guilty of false advertising because they show the technology package being used with the ipod in one of their cx9 ads.Flag

Name: Randal Blackburn on Jan 2, 2008Comments: I am stunned at the audio design problems with my CX-7 and basic concepts like IPOD integration and Bluetooth integration. Please, Mazda, come up with an IPOD integration solution for those with the tech system, including Sirius, and PLEASE make it available to the 2007/2008 CX-7 market... not just future models.Flag

Name: Yung on Feb 17, 2008Comments: Mazda really dropped the ball on this one. How can they advertise a "technology package" when it is so sub-standard Where is the aux input Where is the bluetooth The nav system sucks too. I was planning to buy a CX-7 until I test drove one and saw what the package consisted of.Flag
