I will carpool with Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels.

The petition

I understand both the importance of reducing Seattle's carbon footprint and the importance of delivering Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels safely to his chosen destination.

That's why I'm willing to offer my services to carpool with him (he may drive some days, I might drive others) when he needs a ride. I am willing to undergo a security clearance if that's necessary in order to prove that I'm not going to pester him on the ride like Jan Drago, Nick Licata or Richard McIver would.

I also understand that the mayor's schedule can be crazy, so my carpool services will probably be 'on call' instead of on a more scheduled basis. I also promise to keep my hands away from his reusable plastic water bottle and will not transport any disposable water bottles or grocery bags while the mayor is in the vehicle.
