Longer Breaktimes for Mayfield School

The petition

As many pupils know, Mayfield School has 45 minutes in total of lunch and breaktime. This is split into one 15 minute break and one 30 minute lunch. This time wouldn't be so bad for pupils if teachers did not keep some of their classes in during the pupils breaktime and also considering that for children with school meals from the canteen, you have to wait at least 10 minutes to queue up, get your food and get to the place that you want to eat it. Many of us think that this needs to be expanded so we fully relax before getting back into lessons, we also think that this will improve our learning as it gives more time for pupils to relax until their next lesson.
