| 453 | sally speirs | Students over the age of 25, should be entitled to the same benefits as younger students, why are older students any different from younger students. its hard enough financially to return to education, never mind being faced with discrimination due being an older student. |

| 467 | Julian Schwanitz | The public transport fares for young students are already overpriced, the fact that "mature" students don't even count as such is outrageous!
When you're a student
you get discount on nearly anything in this country, but the travel costs are the important point and there we're left alone... |

| 469 | Lynne Reilly | I gave up a full-time job with a salary of around £23,000 to attend university. A discounted bus pass would have been a godsend. The policy is aimed at 'hooking in' young people and getting them used to using public transport but I think that older people could and should be persuaded to change their travel patterns |

To not offer this discount to students over 25 is a clear-cut case of age discrimmination.
This could not be more out of line. |

| 487 | Kate Helme | I received lothian bus vouchers when opening an RBS student account......and I can't use them as I am 26! It's a rediculous policy! |

| 489 | Anonymous | of course they should have reduced travel but as a full time student do they not have access to student bus passes, rail cards etc on produciton of their matriculation card? |
