Comments: I don't really watch the show, but I'd like to do so sometime. And from the art I've seen, I agree with this petition. So female toys for the win!

Comments: i'd have to say yes that there is really a lack of femal matel action figures. sure there's the faux action dolls, "barbie" -fied. grant it that most charecters that are usually more seeked out are some male charecters, but still.... i sure would like to buy a female charecter figure to have and own, or even give it as a gift to someone younger or in the future to maybe my kids. the only time i've seen a female charecter made was for power rangers. it certainly would be nice to have more female charecter action figures sold more so like the males, or at least see that there is the consideration of these charecters for young children or young adults. its not the desire to cause a havoc because of a sexist view, its more so of the "fan" within someone to see another charecter other then the mainstreamed 2 to 3 figures that the public is always thrown at.

Comments: As soon as I see a Katara or Toph toy I will buy it. I was so disappointed when they didn't make Katara, in fact I didn't want to buy any. Hear that Mattel I'll start buying the whole set once you make Katara!

Comments: When my 15 year old son makes the comment that it is really sexist that there are not Katara or other female Avatar figures, you gotta figure that Mattel has messed up. Katara is a MAJOR figure in the story. Who was the brain wave that decided to drop the ladies

Comments: This is just soo wrong. I am a mother of 2 BOYS who love this show. Katara is a main character who is totally cool. How dare they not make an action figure for her! I mean Sokka has 2 figures already. I do like him but come oh already. My sons want ALL the characters and that means girls too. I was looking forward to getting the entire series, but I will no longer buy ANY Avatar toys until Katara and Toph get made!!!

Comments: Like others when we saw the Avatar action figures, we freaked out from absolute joy. But that joy immediatly turned to disgust, when we saw that there where no females. Mattel has done this with many series of action figures, and it needs to stop. When the females are added, then we will buy the full series.

Comments: I'm turning 16 in may and I love the show, but was disgusted by the fact that there aren't any female figure, but in their place, variants of the same male characters over and over, some of which don't even appear in the show!(e.g. water nation Aang, there isn't even a water nation in the show!). I think it's bitterly ironic that they don't make female figures when in the show, all the strongest characters (excluding the avatar) are female; Azula with her blue fire, Katara with her healing abilities, and my personal favorite, Toph, who despite the fact that she's blind, is probably the most powerful character in the series so far. I personally am not going to so much as touch a single piece of Avatar merchandise until there are some female figures and I don't mean dolls with pretty hair and dresses, I mean REAL action figures!

Comments: I'm a mother of two girls who are very upset that there are no female action figures for Avatar: The Last Airbender. My youngest thinks Toph is the greatest. Both of my girls raid my collection of female action figures (She Ra, Reboot, Buffy.) Mattel needs to realize that they could make a good profit by making the female action figures. They could do a limited edition as a test market to see what response the public has. I guarantee that girls are not the only ones who would purchase the female action figures.

Comments: Well, I for one WILL be feministic in including my signature. My DAUGHTERs love Avatar, all three of them. They are crushed to not have the female characters to play the complete team with. My four year old especially wonders where Toph is. How do I explain to them that the girls aren't good enough in Mattel's eyes
