I will have to tell them that one of the three main characters isn't a toy just because she's a girl? Why have a fire nation soldier and not a Katara, that seems so sexist. I am not sure I can let my kids watch this show if those our the values you are teaching. How can they play Avatar right without the main characters? What is wrong with Nick? My son just doesn't understand. He can't have a character, just because she is a girl? She is very important in the series, maybe the toy makers need to watch an episode before they make these decisions. Please make Katara an action figure, the plush doll is "stupid" according to my children. Is my daughter only allowed to play with baby dolls? I am very disappointed with this decision and the fact that I planned to buy all the figures in the series, I don't think I will buy any now. |

Mattel of all the companies, with their DCSH, JLU, and The Batman lines that all have great female figures that sell like hotcakes, should know that female figures do sell very well. Also, they should by now know that boys have know problem recognizing female leading roles on shows and have no problem playing with female figures. I know plenty of little boys that play with female figures, including myself when I was younger! I never had a problems with playing with female figures or even asking my parents to buy me one. They didn't have a problem with it and didn't feel awkward about it, and that was years ago, so imagine that kids today. Get your heads out of the toilet Mattel, because if you don't that's where your money's going. |

Unfortunately that child won't be able to play with any of the female characters from the show because while Nickelodeon doesn't seem to think girls are important enough to make toys for; they still pander to the demographic by creating strong female characters on the show. Even if female figures don't sell as well there seems to be enough interest to justify small run of "premium edition" figures for serious collectors that would include a female figure. |

If you made a figure of her I for one would buy it (and then probably get obsessive and have to collect the others just because). Cleary I am not alone in this. I also know many many people who have not signed this yet who would love to see action figures (not dolls!) of the Avatar girls. Asside from this, good work! The figures look great! |
