Let's try and get another 'Master & Commander' film made.

This is a petition to show that the interest is there to get Peter Weir back with Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany to make another Master & Commander film.

There's a rich mine of Patrick O'Brian novels full of great stories and adventure featuring the two great characters.

These films are very expensive to make -
(Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World cost an estimated budget of $135,000,000 and made $209,486,484 internationally)

It is unlikely another would be made in this economic climate. However, if enough people show their support by signing, you never know, we'll try to get the petition to Peter Weir and the powers that be and it might just happen one day...
