The conversations I have had with fellow pet owners reveal just how much our neighborhood misses this kind of open space. Seeing our community reflect on the need for a safe area for our dogs confirms that this proposal is about far more than just a park. I am currently reaching out to local officials to ensure this path forward remains clear.

baxk when i lived in des moines we had one and it was amazing. mason city is way behind on this. let's get it done!
YES PLEASE. tired of always worrying about other dogs when we go for walks in the park. having a fenced spot would be so much safer.
My dog is getting old and needs a place to sniff around safely. A park would bring people together anyway.
Mason City really needs this. My dog has nowhere to run around and get his energy out without being on a leash. It would be great for us!
long overdue. my lab needs room to chase a ball. make it happen city council.

finally! hope this actually goes through this time. sick of people complaining about dogs on the trails when there is nowhere else to go.
