I sign this petition in honor of trayvon martin a 17 year old child who was unjustifiably killed by George Zimmerman. A neighborhood crime watch volunteer who took the law into his own hands and killed a kid just because he wore a black hoody and "looked suspicious". Trayvon had just left the store and was on his way back home carrying a bag of skittles and a can of arizona ice tea, that he just purchased from a neighborhood store just a couple of blocks from his home. George Zimmerman called 911 and reported to the sanford police department that he was following someone who looked suspicious and was going to confront him to find out what he was doing in the area. Trayvon did not run but quickly walked in the direction of his house. Zimmerman confronted him and words were exchanged, Zimmerman frightened the kid and physically subdued Trayvon during the struggle Trayvon cried for heldp and begged for his life but Zimmerman still fired killing Treyvon. Zimmerman says he fired in self defense and still claims that he was in fear for his life and uses that excuse as the reason for him shooting this defenseless child. Zimmerman is wrong and should be punished to the full extent of the law.
