Petition to Keep Master Ponders at William Beanes Community Center We, the undersigned parents, are concerned that the martial arts classes at William Beanes Community Center will be discontinued this fall. We urge the William Beanes Community Center Director and the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission to do everything in their power to keep the martial arts classes alive. Master Ponders has been an excellent instructor able to teach discipline, teamwork, and self pride to any age. It will be a disservice to children, parents and the community to allow twelve years of hard work to come to an end.
