Considering that Florida appears to be the number 1 state when it comes to animal abuse, we definitely need something like this. Stop protecting animal abusers! Animals should not be so disposable to people. They need protection too!
Please be the example the entire state can follow. Hoarders and other animal abusers need to be stopped and the public needs to know who they are so we do not let them buy our animals.
As a rescuer also I'm so saddened each day with the abuse I see. We as people much fight for these animals who can't fight for themselves ! We here at Ohana Rescue we hope and pray for change. Please if there is anything we can do to help please feel free to contact use !
This registry must be passed in Marion County! Our county would set a huge precedent for the state of Florida and other states across the country. It should be state law!
My wife has rescued many stray dogs over the years. It would be a great help to know who should not have pets when rehoming them.
Justice for these babies
animal cruelty seems to be all over our world, we need to take a stand and be their voice of hope and rescue from the abusers and bring the abuser to justice

Names need to be available. We all know Animal abuse leads to more severe crimes, such a child abuse and spousal abuse... and killing of creatures and people. Fact.
Considering that Florida appears to be the number 1 state when it comes to animal abuse, we definitely need something like this. Stop protecting animal abusers! Animals should not be so disposable to people. They need protection too!
