Name: Jessica Johnson on Sep 1, 2005State: MACountry: USComments: Definately! I don't smoke any more, but I feel it is better than alcohol, and think of all of the soccer moms driving around taking Xanax and other pills on a daily basis. Jobs would increase due to farming, printing, packaging plants would profit, the food industry would profit due to users that use because it is legal. I'm definately for it. It's a unity drug. No one beats their wife because they are stoned. If anythng should be looked at as illegal its heroin, coke, and stuff like that.Flag

Name: Lucas Richard on Mar 2, 2006State: TXCountry: USComments: Why should we decriminalize or legalize marijuana As President Jimmy Carter acknowledged: "Penalties against drug use should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against the possession of marijuana in private for personal use." Marijuana prohibition needlessly destroys the lives and careers of literally hundreds of thousands of good, hard-working, productive citizens each year in this country. More than 700,000 Americans were arrested on marijuana charges last year, and more than 5 million Americans have been arrested for marijuana offenses in the past decade. Almost 90 percent of these arrests are for simple possession, not trafficking or sale. This is a misapplication of the criminal sanction that invites government into areas of our private lives that are inappropriate and wastes valuable law enforcement resources that should be focused on serious and violent crime.Flag

Name: Brad M. on Jun 23, 2006State:Country: CAComments: Its about time people have a choice of medical treatments. I don't trust man-made drugs, never have. Chemicals are mixed together in a brew, tested on rodents and small animals for a couple of years then the general public is told that the drug is safe because it's been tested for a few months. Suddenly it has to be taken of the market because it has made to many people sick or killed someone. It seem's like a logical choice to me what do you think If God made grass and man made drugs, who do you think is smarterFlag
