To: The San Mateo Planning Commission and The San Mateo City Council
In the past 5 years, we've reviewed several proposals from St. Mathew's to build a new 11,000 square foot building on their property.
Enough is enough.
In all of these, we've seen no material difference from the original proposal, in that they have yet to provide a solution that is similar to Borel Bank, Serra High School, Draeger's, and the main Public Library (among others), all of which were required to provide adequate, onsite, permanent parking, rather than rely on special use permites and promises made by their current administration.
Accordingly, for the third time, we respectfully ask you to reject their current proposal, and we also respectfully ask you to refuse to accept any further proposals that are not materially different and/or do not address the parking and traffic issues in a more permanent, substantive manner.
Enough with the traffic already. It is impossible to get through there at school release time. We are full.
