Fed up with the incompetence of Manpower and the Bonus payments

We would like our money back please! and our dignity and respect! Everyone by now should have received a letter confirming one’s bonus. Many of us would agree that 2009 was a difficult year for Industry (and I remember 2008 was in way of our bonus the previous year) so naturally everyone was on the cautious side that bonuses would be reduced again this year, but goodness me I don’t think we were all prepare for the incompetence of Manpower when we all opened that letter… Firstly the grammar of the letter made was appalling, secondly there was no indication of where this figure came from, thirdly it confirmed that this would be the figure you should see in your wage slip. Lastly the letter had already confirmed the 30% reduction had been taken out.Why then would IBM want Manpower to recall all letters and tell everyone that the bonuses are too high and a further 15-30% needs to be clawed back from everyone….this is disgraceful, all the hard work each individual has given to manpower and IBM and this is the way we have been treated. Please sign the petition below for answers to our questions 1.How was each individual’s bonus calculated, we want to know the exact criteria, not the magic wand theory! 2. Why did we NOT receive a comunication that there would be a reduction in bonuses, makes sense to all those that have attended one of Manpower's Softskill courses - preparation? 3. Why the letter was composed by a Manpower employee who has been on secondment for over a month, ahhh...that probably explains why the letter was not signed (clever!) and who will now preside over this issue and address it 4.Why we only received one review in 12months when there should be at least two 5. Did IBM really reduce the bonus payment by a further 30%? or did Manpower forget to take their cut? 6.Ask yourself why bother? seriously think about it....fed up of the excuses, incompetance, no pay rise for 4 years, annualised hours, redundancies......do you really think Manpower will honour their first letter?.... if NOT then sign the petition to get answers and what is deservedly ours!
