Manovikas: Rights of Use

The petition

Once again, this morning the School, students and parents were harassed by the residents of Amrut Nagar on absolutely baseless and absurd grounds.

On 23rd Jan (and on many other occasions) too, the residents unlawfully stopped the traffic to school causing inconvenience to parents and students and also disrupted the examination schedule as the school busses could not pick up the students from their respective bus stops and they were left stranded.

The school management over the last week has made police complaints and intimated all other necessary government authorities (Chief Secretary, Dy. Collector.) This was necessary as the trucks that were coming in were stopped, threatened and personnel mishandled.

A meeting has been called by the SDM Deepak Desai on Monday 29th January 2007 at 05:00 pm where representatives of the parents, residents, school management are required to attend. The parents have decided to be there to lodge their protest and have requested all to give their support in the interest of the children.

YOUR REPRESENTATION CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. As ex-students we HAVE to show our solidarity with the school. That’s the least we can do for all that we’ve gained from the school.
