A report commissioned by Wyre Forest District Council incorrectly labelled us as a redundant farm and proposed the site for this use. MANOR FARM IS NOT A REDUNDANT FARM – IT IS A DIVERSIFIED WORKING FARM GIVING 6 LIVELIHOODS The site is on green belt land dividing Stourport & Kidderminster. Our family have lived and worked at the farm since 1957 and many of the gypsy/traveller community have been friends as the farm provided employment. We are asking for Manor Farm to be removed from the proposed sites and allow us to continue to work and live. Help us stop this proposal. Allow Manor Farm to continue as a farm and allow us to continue to work and live: The reasons why are:- • The site is on green belt land providing the only divide between Stourport & Kidderminster. • The proposed site is directly on the Stourport Relief Road route • The farm has been a tenanted farm to the same family since 1957. It is the home of 3 thriving business...es and provides 6 livelihoods • Extra pressure will be placed on already stretched local services – schools, doctors and poor road structures. • Access is from the busy dual carriageway or from the narrow minor road – St Johns road, providing severe safety concerns. • Manor Farm has been at the heart of the community for 55 years – providing employment & leisure to hundreds. Manor Farm is the gateway to Stourport and should maintain the current status as a farm.
