Manila Zoo is oldest zoo in Asia, and the administrators of this zoo has turned it into a torture chamber for its residents where they are kept in deplorable conditions. Recent visitors report of malnourished animals, animals with wounds left untreated, dirty ponds, and trash. Tripadvisor reviewers posted that animals are living in filthy conditions, with rotting food lying around and the animals in knee deep mud and feces. This is the Filipino's shame and we call it a tourist destination.
