| 103 | Walter Elledge | Our dependence on foreign oil is crippling our economy.Nuclear Power,Solar Power,Geothermal Power,Wind Power,Electric Powered Cars,Hybrid Cars and Hydrogen Cars and Drilling for Oil Offshore and More Drilling in Alaska to increase production. No single alternative fuel form will solve this problem.Clean coal must part of this solution. This country has the largest deposit of coal reserves in the world. |
| 104 | Ron Weiser | I signed the petition as any action is preferable to none. However, the solution to breaking our dependence on foreign oil is not to develop alternative energy sources but to extract the oil at hand in our own country, construct more refineries and nuclear facilities. Wind power has been around since the 70s and its lack of progress is self-evident. Ethanol is a sham foisted on the American public. Hydrogen power is too long and expensive being developed.
But the most salient, immediate action would be to pressure congress to cease its quid pro quo status with the environmentalists. |

| 107 | Stephen Davis | Drill Here.Drill Now,Pay Less. This November I am voting against every single Democrat in Congress that I can.The Democratic controlled Congress has absolutely NOTHING in the last YEAR to lower gas prices. They don't care if gas GETS to be $7 or $8 a gallon.Drilling for Oil Offshore is only One we must do and NOW.We must build 20 New Nuclear Power Plants to produce Electricity for our Cities and provide power for our electric cars.We must BUILD at least 5 OIL Refineries in the next 15 years because there has Not been 1 single Refinery in the Entire U.S. in 30 YEARS.Solar and Wind Power must be developed as well as Geothermal Power.Hybrid,Hydrogen,And Electric Cars will have to be developed to cut our Oil use. We must allow the Oil Companies to develop the technology to extract shale oil in Colorado,Utah, and Wyoming which amounts to 1.5 to 1.8 TRILLION Barrels of Oil.IT IS SIMPLE PEOPLE IT IS TIME TO VOTE OUT AS MANY DEMOCRATS SO THE REST OF THEM WILL SO AFRAID THAT THEIR JOB BE LOST NEXT SO THERE WILL BE A STRAIGHT UP VOTE YES OR NO FOR DRILLING ON THE OFFSHORE OF THE U.S. |

| 124 | Cuong Nguyen | I have the best invention to create clean energy, we can produce as many as we want with the very low cost. I am looking for any group who are looking for clean energy system generator |
| 125 | Joseph A. Mungai | We can’t filibuster the future of this planet anymore - the facts are in.
We need to get our economy moving by building a clean energy future.
As Congress takes up legislation to repower America, I urge you to support a plan that quickly helps:
* Move to 100% electricity from clean sources such as wind, solar, geothermal, hydrogen fuel cell and other technologies that are currently available.
* Create 10 million new clean energy jobs in the next 2 years including academia, intelligent energy grids and transparent oversight testing centers.
* Cut our dependence on oil by two thirds in the next 5 years.
* Reduce global warming pollution by at least 80% in the next 5 years
Making the shift to energy sources like those mentioned above plus other clean technologies that will ultimately make energy cheaper, exponentially create more and more jobs, be a strong measure of preventative medicine by protecting the environment from the worst impact of human failure - our toxic chemical invasion of Earth and global warming. After years of delay, now is the time to act. |
