With the over whelming drug epidemic amongst our youth, we need to catch the issue and deal with it as early as possible. Our state representatives need to start the war on drugs where it counts, in our public schools. Programs such as DARE are not solving the issue nor or other campaigns endorsed by local law enforcement and public schools. We need mandated drug testing for both students and faculty. Va passed a law to drug tests potential welfare recipients, so why not in our public school systems. Instead of jails, prisons, and youth detention centers we need awareness of the drug issues brought to the families for early intervention with professional counceling. Please sign and share.
