I am urging the FDA to require the mandatory labeling of genetically engineered foods.
The struggle to eat healthily is not a simple challenge. In fact, it has become a battle in which many powerful forces are aligned against us. GMO's are known to cause nervous system and endocrine disorders.It is clear there is a deliberate misleading campaign by food conglomerates and their related lobbies and associations to make it difficult for the American consumer to make sound decisions. The FDA is here to protect the consumer. I have the right to know if a food I eat has been genetically modified. It is my right as a consumer and a health conscious citizen. I am urging the FDA to make this type of labeling mandatory.
