It's time to let DEC know we want to start seeing more mature bucks in New York's 5R WMU. Anyone who hunts in 5R know that the chances of seeing a mature buck are very slim. This is because the deer in this area just aren't given a chance to mature. Mandatory Antler Restrictions have been used in other areas of our state with wonderful results. These restrictions help to create a larger over all buck population with a higher number of mature bucks. Help me to get Mandatory Antler Restrictions for our area and make a better hunting experience for all.
