Everywhere you turn children are claiming they are being sexually abused by someone they know.Some children tell when it occurs and some wait till years later when they are grown into adults and become bitter and hateful. Either way, they tell and when they do most of the time they are not believed. My son told me of his abuse by first attempting to act it out on another child. Cps was notified along with police. Due to lack of physical evidence, my son's case was closed and there for forced to return into the care of the alleged perpetrator. Let just add that my child was 5 years old when the abuse occured and is now 6 years old. I am unable to keep my child from the alleged perpetrator based on his word alone even though he has told cps workers, councelors, and family members. In this petition i am asking that if a child claims they are beng sexually molested or raped like mine, that the state has to make it mandatory for the alleging (such as myself)and the alleged perpetrator(my sons father) take a lie detector test before closing the case.
