Name: JN Fuller on Feb 17, 2013Comments: I used to drive Fire Engines here during WW2 as part of the war effort. It's a very important building and not only saved but put back into working use for generations to come. Britannia Hotels clearly cannot obtain the loans required to develop this building and should be made to let it go.Flag

Name: Francis Etchells on Feb 22, 2013Comments: I am in favour of a new C.P.O, This fantastic building cannot be left to go to ruin. The present owners are surely negligent and need taking to task. It cannot be right that one planning officer on his own can reject the C.P.O. This must go back to Council.Flag

One can only believe that Pickles was stupid or getting a back-hander. Get them in court and appeal the decision to award costs against MCC- disgraceful!Flag

Name: Math Long on Feb 27, 2013Comments: It's plain to see what a magnificent building this is; by all accounts it was a top notch firestation, not sure anyone would even mind if it was a splendid hotel..(but that idea has had it's day) It just needs to be restored and alive and accessible. Keep the campaign friendly and professional and make allies of the general public, rather than tubthumping. Get some powerful patrons on board. Keep it simple. Put pressure on those that can make a CPO happen.Flag
