Comments: As someone who regularly travels by train into Manchester from Liverpool, on the way into Manchester Piccadilly, platform 13 I am greeted by the big empty Fire Station. On the way out, on platform 14, I am waved off by the big empty Mayfield Railway Station, complete with prostitutes and taxi drivers using it as a public toilet. Why has this area of the city been ignored while the rest of Manchester City Centre resembles a glass building site? For shame, Manchester City Council.

Comments: Spent many hours in and out of the old coroners court up until 1999. A lovely court but it was damp and in a poor state then. I don't have to be a councillor to work out what Britannia are up to, wait till the place is ready to fall down then flog the land for billions. Same old story, councils skint(allegedly) and back down to bullies like Britannia...... Manchester is a mess in comparison to other European cities, get somebody on board who has a clue what they are doing..... Instead of pussy footing round. Kind regards
