    Comments: A beautiful building which has been left to go to rack and ruin over the last 20 years for what seems no reason at all, passing the building from time to time, it's dirty, disheveled and a total waste of such an iconic building at one of the main entrances of the City of Manchester. The last attempt for the council to get a CPO failed, with the company who owns it saying they would attempt to turn it into a high class hotel "as soon as possible" but seeing as they aren't even keeping it in a good state of repair will it still be standing when they get the grants and public monies they want to do this.

    Comments: I agree that this situation must be resolved ASAP although I don't trust Manchester City Council to preserve the heritage of it's own city. Time and time again heritage is pushed aside for a fast, cheap buck.
