Comments: The guys don't seem to want to develop one of the city's finest buildings, but don't want anybody else to develop it either. The City Council apparently have a company ready and willing to reffurbish this building, turning it in to a hotel whilst retaining the Grade II listed integrity, but Langsam will 'apparently' not sell...... in the meantime a fine building, in an increasingly prime location is left derelict and slowly degenerating.

Comments: Its come to that point where only the people of Manchester can help this building by spreading the word. The public apathy - yet admiration of this building among Mancunians cannot continue - something has to be done for the good of the building and the city.

Comments: Even if Britannia get their act together and turn this into a hotel, it would NEVER have the class it deserves. This hotel screams out 5 star hotel however Britannia's range of hotels are substandard and poorly maintained and attract the wrong type of clientele to warrant a beautiful building like London Rd Fire Station.

Comments: Fully support this campaign. Why should an important civic asset be left to rot by the willful neglect of Britannia Group when there are others prepared to bring this masterpiece back to glory Mr Pickles.

Comments: Really upset at the state of this special building. It's all the evidence you need to prove that large companies don't give back and millionaires don't care.
