The best musical talents in Malta are probably part-time musicians and are unknown due to lack of time and resources. Attend any music marathon, concert or festival and you will see this yourself. Taking by example football, scouting involves going to search for talents yourself in the least expected places rather than waiting for talents to come knock at your door. |

| 154 | Deborah Muscat | I vote for Joe Demicoli, if were not going to get aniwhere in this competision, might as well have fun with it and do somethig drastic and original. it might just as well atract the audience's votes!!!! |

| 159 | jennifer | This is really getting to be a circus. Are we sending singers or actors? Can Zoo SING? No they cannot. So don't post stupid comments |

| 161 | James Cutajar | I surely agree |
| 162 | Shaun Abdilla | Great idea, finally somebody realises the stupidity of the Eurovision Song Contest. A front for European diplomacy. |
| 163 | Liam Woods | Eurovision as a political sphere and singers as political icons... |
| 164 | Jean Paul Knopfler | I agree with the petition to ask the Malta Board for Eurovision Song Contest to spare the money spent on organising the local qualificaation contest for Eurovision 2008 and instead contract witty funny songwriter/s and singer/s of the likes of Joe Demicoli, Augusto Cardinale and Philip Vella to compose a song that makes a point by mocking around the obvious faults of the current voting system and the culprit countries.
I sincerely belive it's a fair petition. |
| 165 | Steph Grima | i totally agree. |
| 166 | Sylvia Giordmaina | I support you |

Although 2007 submission was not to my tastes, and maybe a bit ridiculous for such a contest, I agree that we should make fun of the Eurovision and we should be including some phrases in Maltese like for example "ivvutawlna ja boloh, ivvutawlna!" or something that indirectly insults the whole organisation of the eurovision. That would be cool and even if the ministry decides to organise a contest for 2008, I bet such a song will be heavily voted. |
| 171 | Peter Grima | THE MALTESE SINGERS ARE GREAT, IT'S THE VOTING SYSTEM THAT IS VERY BAD AND UNJUST. |
| 172 | DaRReN MSiDa | i support this gr8 idea |
| 173 | Anonymous | I suggest Tristan B, demicoli and zoo are too serious for such farce!!! |

| 176 | Yulia | although I'm not from Malta, the idea of mocking the system is good. Finland won in 2006 with the most horrible song on earth. every country votes for its political allies. This way countries like Malta or Israel will never win (not that Israel had a good song in 07). I really think think the Eurovision should be about how good the song is, not a political contest. |
