I believe that male cheerleaders should be able to participate in competitive cheer there for saying competitive cheer should be unisex.

Male cheerleaders should be able to asses their cheering levels which competitive cheer allows, but sideline cheer (cheering for your school) only allows you to asses your skill as a team/group. It's clear to see there is a double standards because females are able to do a predominantly "male"sport such as football but males aren't allowed to do a predominantly "female" sport such as competitive cheerleading. This leaves the scale unbalaced and the playing field isn't equal amongst genders. To conclude I believe male cheerleaders should be able to participate in competitive cheer
