The best chocolate from the 80's is back . . . and not safe for Coeliacs! Coeliac disease is not an allergy. It's an auto-immune disease, which means that the body produces antibodies that attack its own tissues. For people with coeliac disease this attack is triggered by gluten, a protein found in wheat, rye and barley. Repeated exposure to gluten may lead to malnutrition, osteoporosis, bowel cancer and ultimately death. Although the ingredients show no gluten Cadburys have brought the Wispa under the blanket statement of the rest of their chocolate and said that it is produced in the same area as other chocolate containing wheat and THEREFORE MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF WHEAT/GLUTEN This is so unfair to Coeliacs. Why do other chocolate manufacturers manage but yet again Cadburys can't produce gluten free chocolate 1% of the population suffer from Coeliac disease and we deserve to be treated FAIRLY!
