All eye tests should be made avaliable on the NHS for everyone, regardless of their age or employment status. People are encouraged to get their eyes tested regularly for adults its every two years, unless otherwise advised. It leads to the discovery of eye conditions early and makes them more treatable, conditions such as diabetes,macular degeneration and glaucoma.

An eye test is valuble for everyone and it seems people in the lower wage bracket are not able to have their eyes tested due to cost. This then leads to conditions not being treated and becoming worse.
