A lot of people want there to be a continuation of the awsome Dark Knight Trilogy, and interpet the ending of The Dark Knight Rises to be the potential start of a spin off. Let's face it: Bruce Wayne's Batman has been done ALL the times that Batman has been portrayed, and would it not be interesting to see a superhero with a different identity? Batman has multiple identities in the comics/cartoons, and a lot of people reacted positvely to the new "Robin" in The Dark Knight Rises. The Dark Knight Trilogy was arguably the absolute best portrayl of Batman, and to see it be replaced by a new comer in a different universe from an Avengers esque crossover event, just simply sucks! I know that things must end eventually, but why miss out on an awsome oppertunity to include Batman in an Avengers movie? It just won't be the same Batman, and in any case, MANY people are upset by Ben Affleck's casting anyways, but if he is said to be portraying a slightly different character, (which I personally could see being pulled off more effectively than just being Bruce Wayne's Batman), then people may be more forgiving and more willing to accept Affleck as Batman; with ties to the Dark Knight Trilogy, the Man of Steel Sequel could make even more money and could even beat Star Wars or Avengers 2 as the top movie of 2015!
