The BBC allowed Jimmy Savile to get away with child abuse for decades. At least 40 people have come forward as victims. People working at the BBC knew but let him get away with it.
Now the BBC are launching multiple inquiries and no doubt will end up paying compensation.
Instead of that coming out of our license fee and leading to even more repeats I think it should be paid for by BBC staff through a levy on their wages.
