For years now my kids and others have been bullied by a couple kids at Hawes Elementary School. The parents of these kids that are bullying are sent home papers for them to sign and return. That hasn't solved the problem. The bullies have physically hurt other kids at school. They have been suspended and that hasn't solved the problem. The bullies threaten other children with obscene, vulgar,hateful and racial slurs. They have challenged children to fight after school and the problems just keep escalating. This is not your average child that acts up once in a while and makes little mistakes. These kids really need some help?
I would like the harassment and bullying to stop. The superintendent says they have to keep the bullies in school??? No expelling??? Well then get them counseling during their recesses. Do something else! Other schools have zero tolerance for these issues. Lets make Hawes a safe place for our children to go and learn without any physical & emotional abuse brought by these couple kids on school grounds. TWO kids are affecting the whole school. The effects of bullying as you know can lead to insecurities, problems focusing at school, depression and more. Let's make Huntington Beach School District a NO TOLERANCE SCHOOL FOR BULLIES! Thanks
