MANY children are registered users of YouTube without adult supervision. The numbers are staggering. This is NOT acceptable. We need a system in place that protects children that are using YouTube with more strict rules in regard to sexual predators and cyber bullies that are registered users of YouTube. YouTube needs to accept some responsibility. A suggestion and a start would be to make ALL youtube users register with YouTube with a credit card. This would make them less anonymous and more accountable for their comments. Most people pay close attention to their credit and money and how/ where it is used and spent.

Amanda Todd's video was initially pulled/ removed. YouTube profits from popular videos by placing adds over them. What would it say about YouTube if they profited from a video created by a minor that was made popular from a suicide that was in part believed to be the cause of a sexual and adult predator?
We have the power and numbers to decide. We made YouTube what they are now and we decide how YouTube will be used, (if at all) by our children. Make a difference. Place your signature on this petition.
