We, the residents of Gwelup, petition the Stirling Council to upgrade the maintanence of the Abdale/Talma Park. The park is currently neglected and not adequately maintained, and in its current state, is an eye sore. We believe the demographic in the area has changed, with many residents now including families with young children who would regularly use the park. However,in its current neglected state, with broken sticks, prickles, unwatered "grass" areas, weeds and bees abounding,this fantastic resource is under used. We ask that the Stirling Council begin regularly maintaining the park, beginning with watering the "grass" and regularly removing the abundance of sticks/branches from surrounding trees.
